Microsoft is adding DALL-E, an AI art generator, to its Bing search engine and Microsoft Edge browser. Simply enter the desired image in the search bar, and DALL-E will generate it for you.
The feature is now accessible to the general public via the most recent versions of Bing and Microsoft Edge.
According to a Microsoft blog post by Roger Capriotti, this new feature permits users to construct images that do not yet exist. It was created by Microsoft’s partner OpenAI, who also created the ChatGPT chatbot.
Enabling the Image Creator in the Microsoft Edge sidebar is all that’s required for it to function.
Additionally, it will be available in the Bing conversation.
Microsoft’s intelligent office is Copilot
Microsoft also announced a new version of Office, now known as Microsoft 365 and enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) tools dubbed Copilot.
Microsoft Copilot is compatible with the standard Microsoft 365 applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. It saves time when composing, editing, condensing, and sourcing Microsoft Word documents. It can also assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations based on prompts and the addition of content to an existing presentation. Excel can assist in analyzing trends and creating professional-looking data visualizations.
Copilot in Microsoft Outlook can help you clear your inbox in minutes by summarizing lengthy email threads and suggesting responses. It can function in real-time in Microsoft Teams by summarizing discussion points and determining which participants concur and disagree on a given topic.
