On the Nintendo eShop, a popular Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED game was released on April 12 of last year for $1.99.
This represents a savings of 86 percent compared to the game’s usual price of $14.99, and it’s also the lowest price the game has ever been on the Nintendo eShop. However, the offer is only valid for a limited time. Specifically, the contract will expire on May 4. Until then, however, Don’t Starve Together can be purchased for the price of a pack of gum.
Don’t Starve Together debuted in 2016, but did not arrive on Nintendo Switch consoles until 2022, for those unaware. It is a standalone multiplayer expansion of 2013’s Don’t Starve that has been transformed into a complete survival game by Klei Entertainment.
Popular 2022 Nintendo Switch Game Now Only $1.99 During Sale
The game has accumulated a large number of user reviews on Steam. More precisely, 258,869 user evaluations. 96 percent of these reviews are favorable, resulting in a “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating for this game. This is the highest rating a game can receive on Steam, and it is extremely rare, as it requires at least 95% positive user evaluations.
The fact that Doesn’t Starve Together has a 96 percent rating across a large number of user reviews is particularly impressive. You may have never heard of the game, but since its release on PC and Nintendo Switch, it has attracted millions of players.
“Fight, Farm, Build, and Explore Together in the Standalone Multiplayer Expansion to the Uncompromising Wilderness Survival Game, Don’t Starve,” states the game’s official description. “Enter a bizarre and unexplored world teeming with strange creatures, hidden dangers, and primordial secrets.
Gather resources to manufacture items and construct structures suited to your method of survival.
Play as you uncover the secrets of “The Constant.” Participate in a private game with your friends, or locate new friends online. Collaborate with other players or venture out on your own to survive the harsh environment. Do whatever it takes, but above all, avoid starvation.”
The game requires 4.2 GB on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED. In exchange, you receive a game that supports all three game modes and the following language options: Spanish, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Traditional Chinese.
